Flame

I made the animated film at David Ehrlich’s animation course in 2012.

The story is inspired by Confucius’s word: 朝闻道, 夕死可矣 (Having heard the Way in the morning, one may die content in the evening), and Jorge Luis Borges’s ‘The Circular Ruins’.

The title is inspired by the song of the same name in singer-songwriter Deserts Chang’s album ‘Games We Play’.
